Ainu Association of Hokkaido

The Hokkaido Ainu Center consists primarily of a materials exhibition room, an adjoining books and information materials room and a practical preservation training room. The Center was basically established to deepen historical recognition of the Ainu people and hand down Ainu culture from generation to generation, and promote the preservation of cultural properties. The Ainu Association of Hokkaido run and manage this Center by commision from the Hokkaido Goverment.
